It's with great joy I write you this short letter.
I so much appreciate your concern about my spiritual life.
The prayer points and Bible passages you have been sending me have been so helpful.
God bless you for it.
I so much appreciate it.
Permit me to show you a side you have ignored till today.
I don't doubt your love for me but I'm yet to see the affectionate side of your love.
Each time need arise to show love through gifts and fun, you always turn it down.
Common recharge card you are too holy to send it to me.
On my last birthday you bought me "open heaven" devotional.
Last Valentine you couldn't take me to see any movie or eat ice cream. You said Christians shouldn't celebrate Valentine.
Easter came you said it's not a time for celebration but for sobber reflection on the essence of Easter.
So I'm left waiting for Christmas.
But I received the shock of my life last night when you said Christmas celebration is not biblical. Therefore whatever is not found in the Bible should not be practiced by Christians.
Um!!!
I'm surprised and speechless.
Sir, is this your normal way of life or you are just trying to hide the fact that you are stingy?
I didn't ask you to gift me underwear ooo.
I'm just saying that we hangout, see movies, go on sight seeing, eat out and just relax and chat in public places (not behind close doors ooo).
Am I asking you for too much?
Yes, it is good to be spiritual and heaven focused but sir is giving a sin?
Is this how our marriage will be boring?
Does that mean that our children will never go shopping or visit amazement parks?
Are you saying that we shall be fasting and praying through out our lives?
The other day I saw Daddy GO and wife's picture during their visit to Dubai. This old couple were in sportswear in a mall not mountain praying ooo.
Sir, I think that I like their own type of Holiness.
You said that we would be getting marriage before middle of next year and am already afraid.
Is this your real face (attitude)?
What is love when there is no affection?
I have to reevaluate my acceptance of your proposal.
Yours Faithfully,
Sis Amaka
